About Me

Personal
I was born Saturday, November 13, 1971 in Prince Georges County, Maryland where I lived a majority of my life. It was a great place to both live and work (at the time)! I attended grade school (K-8) at St. Bernards in Riverdale, MD. After that I attended DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, MD which I graduated from in 1989. After that I attended junior college and started working in the telemarketing field to pay for school and continued working with computers. Since then, I've added many, many skills to my resume. Sometime in the future, I would like to return to college (maybe online) to add/strengthen my skills. The computer science field is always changing. Where was HTML 10 years ago when I was in school? I truly enjoy the learning experience, and hope to make learning a life-long objective.

Professional
I am employed full time at Long Fence and Home as a marketing/tech manager in the field of home improvements. My most recent experience is in overseeing the management of call center, making long term department plans and goals, generating standard operating procedure documents, continuously developing formal training materials and preparing routine reports and keeping corporate management apprised of marketing operational issues. For this organization, I am also responsible for keeping up to date with associated costs, statistics and the profitability of employees in the marketing department. Fun stuff (sometimes). I don't need to bore you but further details about my educational and professional backgrounds can be found in my resume.

Interests
As for hobbies, I am a true computer geek. Below is a list of my personal interests. Organizational affiliations are also listed on this page and in my resume.

Video Games - I am just a massive collector of games. I have so many games that I have no time to play them all. I have hundreds of Playstation 2 and Xbox games that I havent even played yet. I have most video game consoles (even before the Atari 2600) and prefer to keep everything in mint boxed condition.

Photography - Amateur photography using a Nikon F80. I recently got an Olympus digital camera with which I'm having fun with, and soon hope to be sharing some of my photos with you on this web site.
